Packaging
Vahdam Teas Vedic Kadha comes in a bottle green and white box. Each tea bag is individually sealed in a paper envelope. Visually, the tea bags look very premium. The kadha/herbal tea contents are packed in a small pyramid shaped nylon-mesh bag, and we liked how we could see most of the ingredients. A big plus point is that there are no staple pins on the ‘tea’ bag.
Ingredients
The list of ingredients include turmeric, ginger, black pepper, tulsi, amla, cumin oil, clove, ajwain, and fennel. This is a caffeine-free beverage and does not contain any artificial additives.
Instructions to make it
According to the instructions given on the box, we can consume it in two ways – as a hot brew and as a cold brew. We went with the more common and traditional way and tried it using the hot brew method. In a cup of 200 ml freshly boiled water, we placed a single kadha bag. We let it brew for 3 minutes. We did not add any sweetener.

Taste
Anything that is fresh and uses quality ingredients by default tastes nice and has an aroma that draws you towards it. Vahdam Teas Vedic Kadha is one such beverage.
Aroma
We checked for aroma during our brewing process and found that the aroma is warming and well balanced. The blend of turmeric, tulsi, ginger, and pepper is in harmony and elegantly balanced.

The Vahdam Teas Vedic Kadha tastes fresh and clean. The distinct earthy and subtle flavor of pepper pairs beautifully with the other herbs and spices. Not everyday would you like a pepper dominant beverage, which is why we love how the pepper flavor is not too pungent or overpowering. The mild citrusy notes of ginger taste good. There is no bitterness in the entire kadha, and the turmeric and ginger add a very balanced, well-rounded heat.
We also loved the fact that there is no added sugar. You may add a sweetener of your choice, probably honey or jaggery, but it is not necessary.
