Taste + Texture
First things first, these cook up quickly and achieve a lovely crunchy crust on the outside. However, the batter-to-filling ratio was a disappointment.
What do we mean when we say this? The snack was hollow within. While there was cheese, it wasn’t in abundance or oozing out.
Coming to the flavors, the outer crust has a lot of herbs, imparting a mild freshness. Contrary to the package description, we anticipated a pizza-like filling with distinct tomato, cheese, and fresh herb flavors, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. Even when we look at this as just a mozzarella stick, it still isn’t cheesy enough.
