In terms of design, this is a decently-sized kettle. It isn’t too bulky and does not occupy a large area on the kitchen counter. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing to look at. The main body is made of glass that adds a touch of elegance. The lid and base are made of steel and plastic, respectively. Another design aspect, the cord. The cord is long enough to comfortably place the appliance on a kitchen slab and plug in. That said, the kettle is detachable which further adds to this convenience.
The functioning is pretty smooth. Power, opening the lid and setting the temperature, all work at the push of a button.
The temperature control setting is a feature we didn’t know we needed! Using kettle-boiled water is a cycle of super hot, boiling water and waiting for it to cool down until it’s warmer than room temperature. With this manual temperature control, we could easily set the required temperature. There are four pre-set temperature options- 50, 70, 80, and 90 degrees celsius.
The color-changing light is another great addition. It is indicative of the water temperature range.
