4.5 / 5
4.5 / 5

Bold coffee flavor, intense aroma and a creamy-milky mouthfeel, Cothas Classic cold coffee wins both in taste and consistency. The clean ingredient list is an added plus.

Three ingredients is all it takes to reach paradise – coffee, sugar, and chilled milk. How tasty the coffee is depends on the balance between these simple ingredients.

We recently tried the filter cold coffee by Cothas and loved the intensity. For a packaged coffee, the freshness and flavors are superb. Our Cothas Classic Cold Coffee review is based on parameters like taste, consistency and price.

Our Review Factors

What are we looking for? A smooth, intense cold coffee that tastes fresh. More details on the specificities explained in the section below.

1. Flavor

Because cold coffee is made using coffee brewed at relatively lower temperatures, the overall flavor and acidity is slightly lower compared to a traditional hot brew. In addition to a rounded sweetness, we looked for a fresh milky flavor, and whether or not these elements work in sync.

Filter coffee is slightly stronger than your regular instant coffee. Did this beverage capture that well enough?

2. Consistency

We did not seek a thick, latte-like consistency, but not watery like Americano either. We were looking for a homemade milkshake-like consistency that was creamy and smooth.

3. Others

The price, packaging, ingredients, shelf life, storage instructions, and more have also been noted.
