This lassi by Winkin Cow is not milk based, but it is made using curd and mango pulp along with other ingredients. It has a nice mango flavor with balanced sweetness levels. The presence of curd can make it mildly sour which we did not really enjoy.
Summers in India and mangoes are synonymous. Combine that with thick yogurt to make lassi. Ah, perfection! But as summer comes to an end, does that mean you cannot enjoy a mango lassi every now and then? Absolutely not. We tried the Britannia Winkin’ Cow Mango Thick Lassi to see if it reminds us of summertime and if the mango flavor is natural. Here is what we found out in our Britannia Lassi review.

Aroma
The Britannia Winkin’ Cow Thick Mango Lassi is a vibrant light yellow in color. The aroma of the lassi is what you expect out of a quality mango based beverage – nice and fresh.
Consistency
The mango lassi is made using 45% curd and has a thick and creamy texture. The texture/ consistency of the lassi is what you would expect out of a fresh homemade lassi.
Taste
Even though the sweetness levels of the lassi are balanced, the mango flavor did not work well for us. Although the mango flavor is prominent, there is nothing exceptionally great taste-wise, and there is a mild sourness in the beverage, perhaps from the curd.

Final Words
We did not have the best experience while reviewing Britannia Winkin Cow Mango Thick Lassi. The overall flavor was not very appealing. We were expecting fresher and better flavors from this. If you love mango flavored beverages, the Thick Mango Milkshake by Britannia Winkin’ Cow is a much better option.
