Our detailed experience with each of the 3 variants is briefly discussed in the section below:

1. Unibic Lentil & Pea Pop Crisp: Masala Twist

Our Experience

The first thing we noticed in this snack is the specs of moong dal and smashed peas spread unevenly. The moong dal lends a nice grittiness and flavor to this snack while the green peas add in a fresh flavor.

The masala has coated all the pop crisps very well leaving no bland tasting one. Flavor-wise, it is remarkable. The delightful desi masala flavor is tasty which is sure to make this snack a crowd pleaser.

Lastly, the crunch of this snack is satisfying and the best part is that it does not not leave your hands oily or greasy.

2. Unibic Millet POP Crisp : Sweet Chilli

Our Experience

Right as we opened the pack there was a sweet aroma that enveloped us followed by a lingering hint of chilli in the background.

However, taste-wise things were quite the opposite. In terms of the flavor, the taste of chilli is BOLD while there is a mild thai sauce like sweetness in the background.

The crunch of this snack is absolutely ADDICTIVE and we mean that! It is neither too soft nor too hard but maintains a satisfying crispness which we expect from a packaged snack.

3. Unibic Potato POP Crisp : Cream & Onion

Our Experience

This is made using 88% potatoes. Among the three variants, this was our least favorite. Though the texture is crunchy, the overall bite is hard and requires more effort to chew.

However, despite the texture not being up to the mark, the flavor maintained a nice balance! There is a nice synchronization seen between the cheese and onion flavors, providing a satisfying experience.
