3. What does it contain?
The HSR yogurt maker consists of a stainless steel bowl that has a 1 liter capacity. The outer body is made of plastic and there is a single button to start the yogurt-making procedure. The cord attached to the yogurt maker is medium in length. It has two plastic lids with which you can cover the yogurt maker/container. The inner stainless steel container can be used to store and serve the curd as well. Wash and re-use it to set the curd.

This HSR yogurt maker is extremely simple to use. All you need to do is add fresh milk, 2-3 spoons of curd, and switch the appliance on. Leave the yogurt maker untouched and unopened for at least 7-9 hours. Your curd is ready and set.

We used the yogurt maker for over a fortnight in our test kitchen. There was no need to heat the milk, and adding fresh room temperature milk did the job. Refrigerated milk/chilled milk was not used. Adding 2-3 tablespoons spoons of curd was sufficient. We left the yogurt maker untouched for 7-9 hours, as instructed.
Over the entire two weeks, we noticed that the curd was well set, thick and the yogurt maker gave consistent results. Even on cooler days and evenings, the curd texture did not differ, and it was easy to set it.
