We reviewed their Badam Drinks earlier in 2019 and found them to be quite delicious. This time, we picked up MTR Bdama Drink Mix with the aim to check it out for consumption during cold months.

#FirstImpressions Of MTR Badam Drink Mix
First things first, don’t compare this premix (or any for that matter) to the badaam milk you get at good old halwai ki dukaan. Even when you make badaam milk at home from scratch, there is a fair bit of simmering the milk and spices go through to achieve a creamy consistency. These premixes merely add flavor, to any kind of milk you add them to; full-cream, toned, or slim milk.
As far as imparting flavor is concerned, MTR Badam Drink Mix does a good job. The drink gets a nice mild yellow color to it, with subtle saffron and badam aroma. We tasted MTR Badam Drink Mix with a glass of hot milk.

The little bits of badaam, the chunks of badaam are also crunchy. There are very small pieces of badaam floating around, that you enjoy with each sip.
MTR Badam Drink Mix makes a very light drink, doesn’t feel very dense, even though we used a glass of full-cream milk for tasting. If you are using toned milk, you may want to let it simmer for a few minutes.
