Vada Pav is a Maharashtrian delicacy that is well-loved by all. A besan coated vada, filled with spicy potato mix is the heart and soul of the dish. It garlicky flavor combines with just the right spice to make for a mouth-watering anytime treat. Now, ITC, under its new Masterchef banner, has introduced bite-sized ‘Vada Pops’ that can be fried in a jiffy and enjoyed as a standalone snack. Amidst a sea of aloo tikkis, aloo smiley’s, aloo-cheese bites, these Vada Pops (also, with aloo!) come as a breath of fresh air.

  2. It contains no added preservatives.
  3. It is best before twelve months of packaging.

Instructions For Preparing ITC Masterchef’s Mumbai Vada Pav

There are three ways in which you can prepare it:

  1. Shallow Fry: From 4-5 minutes.
  2. Air-Fry: Preheat to 200℃ and then cook for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Deep Fry: Deep fry for 3-4 minutes.

Every bite of these besan (chickpea flour) coated bite-sized vadas had just the right taste. It is spicy, garlicky, and very fresh. The vada pops create a flavor explosion and are best enjoyed hot and straight off the frying pan.

These are great as a standalone bite and can make for an interesting vegetarian party snack. You could even use these to make a quick homemade vada pav if you want!
