Originally, Caesar dressing is a pleasing amalgamation of salty, cheesy, garlicky flavor notes with that of Worcestershire sauce. The sauce is classified by savory and sweet with a distinct tang provided by the vinegar. There’s a hint of some lemony citrus flavor, which is tied with a rich creaminess.
While freshly prepared dressing is a different experience altogether, can a bottled variant be as acidic and assertive, yet creamy?
We did not add any seasoning or other flavoring agents to arrive at a fair conclusion.

Freshness plays a key role in the flavor profile, and the overall experience of relishing a salad bowl. We gauged the quality of ingredients via its aroma to get an understanding of the freshness.
Texture
First, we checked how thick or flowy the consistency of this dressing was. Then we mixed it in a salad bowl (simple salad with cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce leaves and croutons) to see how well the dressing coats the veggies and how easy or challenging the mixing process was.

Next, we prepared a basic salad using some cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, and croutons. This is made using Water, Refined soybean oil (20.0%), Synthetic vinegar (Water, Acetic acid (INS260)), Emulsifiers and stabilizers (INS 1442, INS1450, INS415), Iodised salt, Liquid glucose, Sugar, Cheese powder (0.1%), Spices and condiments, Herbs, Preservatives (INS 211, INS202), Natural color (INS 150d), Natural and nature identical flavoring substances, Acidity regulators (INS330), Antioxidant (INS319), and Sequestrant (INS385).
How did we test this?
As mentioned above, we reviewed this product in two stages.
Aroma + Appearance
Veeba Caesar dressing had a primarily gloopy consistency. It looked thick, creamy, and there were no stale/rancid odors, which was a plus.
Taste + Texture
Earthy, cheesy and fresh. This is what we were looking for.
And considering this is a packaged dressing, we were pleasantly surprised with the overall performance.
This was quite fresh, and it did have the cheesy flavor. Needless to say these flavor notes were not as intense as a freshly prepared dressing. That being said, it was quite good in terms of flavor, the ‘store-bought’ element being factored in.
The texture definitely does have room for improvement. It was fairly gloopy and needed help from ingredients like olive oil, some lemon juice to loosen it up, and ensure even coating on the salad. The mouthfeel gets a thumbs up. This was super rich and creamy.
