Product Inspection : Slurrp Farm Blueberry Pancake & Waffle Mix comes in a blue color pouch pack. The packaging looks attractive. The brand mentions the cooking instructions to prepare the pancake. However, there are no instructions mentioned on how to prepare the waffles. The fruity aroma of this dry mix was prominent. This dry powder has a semi coarse texture. It contains big-sized and plumped-up pieces of blueberry. Additionally, sugar granules were also present.
Cooking Process : The process to cook both waffles and pancakes was pretty easy.
a. For Waffles : Since there were no proportions given on the pack, we followed our own. We mixed about 75 gm of this mix with ¼ cup of milk and added one egg. The batter was neither thick nor runny. After preheating the waffle maker, we poured the batter. The cooking time was approximately 6 to 7 minutes. Once cooked, the waffles were tasted alongside some honey and strawberries.
b. For Pancakes : We mixed about 75 gm of this mix into 3/4th cup of milk and added one egg. We prepared the pancakes on a non-stick pan. The cooking time was slightly longer. Since this mix is made using millets.

Taste & Texture :
Waffles – Taste-wise, these waffles showcase balanced sweetness. The blueberry chunks popping in between deliciously cut through the sweetness and add a nice bite. The cranberries add a fruity mouthfeel. Yum, we say! Texture-wise, we were impressed too. These waffles are fluffy from the center. We loved how crispy the edges turned out. The waffles had risen well. At no point does it feel dense or chewy. Thumbs up! However, since these are made using millets, the texture was not as smooth as our maida-based waffles.
Pancakes – The dried cranberries and plumpy blueberries add a delicious touch of fruitiness. We loved the well-balanced sweetness and the hint of salt helps with this. The texture of the pancakes was fluffy. It has risen perfectly and does not feel dry. The addition of honey and strawberries amps up the entire taste experience.
Made using different whole grain flours (oats flour, foxtail millet flour, sorghum flour), this mix is a healthy breakfast option. Instead of refined sugar, this mix contains raw brown sugar. We appreciate the fact that no refined flour and sugar makes its way into the pack.
