For this #FirstImpressions, we decided to check out a relatively newer variant – Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Meltz – because we all know how different that liquid chocolate affects the taste buds. #FirstImpressions Of Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Meltz

Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Meltz has big shoes to fill.

The original, and massively popular Dark Fantasy Choco Fills is delicious, decadent and with a velvety cream inside, it’s amongst the best chocolate cream filling cookie you will have.

Sadly, Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Meltz pales in comparison. Over here, the cookie has a chocolate coating, in addition to a cremé filling inside. Somehow this addition of a cholate layer didn’t work for us. The chocolate-coated cookie is dry, and the cream filling doesn’t really taste very chocolatey. The flavors are muted and subdued.

Once you bite into the cookie, there are crumbs falling everywhere, which is definitely not a great experience. Moreover, holding the chocolate-dipped cookie is a sticky affair; and we agree this would be the case with most chocolate-coated/dipped cookies.

Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Meltz does not taste bad. It is, however, one of those snacks where the story begins better than how it ends.

In fact, we love its original choco-filled biscuits, which also happen to be our Top Pick in the Yummiest Chocolate Filled Biscuit Review.
