A 100 gm pack of this Rich Makhani gravy is priced at Rs. 80. It is packed in a khaki color pouch. This has 12 months of shelf life.

Main Ingredients

The main ingredients include: Tomato paste, water, low fat cream(9%), onion, cashew nuts, melon seeds, olive oil, unsalted butter (1.8%), ginger paste, iodised salt, garlic paste, green coriander leaves, plantation white sugar, red chilli, garcinia cambogia, green cardamom, pink peppercorn, fennel, bay leaves, cinnamon, mace, caraway, turmeric, and fenugreek leaves. 

We appreciate that these do not have any artificial preservatives and colors. Moreover, this is made using olive oil, which is a better source of fat in comparison to other refined oils available in the market.

How Did We Make It? Cooking Process 

  1. Melt 15g butter\add 15 ml olive oil in a pan on low heat, add 150g paneer cubes and saute for a minute. We added butter.
  2. Add 1 packet of Catch Kitchen Art Makhani Gravy and mix 100 ml water,cook till desired consistency. We added 100 ml water and got a slightly thick gravy. 
  3. You can add salt as per taste, garnish with cream and kasuri methi and serve hot. We did not add salt, but added a splash of cream and a pinch of kasoori methi.

Aroma + Appearance 

This is a thick paste-like orange masala. The masala has chunky bits and a coarse texture rather than being finely minced. 

This releases a lovely, fresh aroma of tomato and butter. 


In terms of convenience, it rightfully earns a perfect score of 10/10. The most noteworthy aspect is its ability to eliminate the requirement for chopping and preparing the base gravy. All you need from your kitchen is paneer and a source of fat to saute it in.

Flavor + Texture 

This RTE Makhani gravy is quite flavorful, creamy and has a rich taste. It doesn’t give off the typical ready-to-eat vibe, all thanks to its freshness. Laced with a slight, sweet nuttiness, it has that authentic Shahi Paneer flavor. 

We did not feel the need to adjust the salt level as this was by itself perfectly seasoned. However, depending upon individual salt preference, you can make the necessary changes. 

Furthermore, the addition of kasuri methi and cream elevated our overall experience. 

The texture of the gravy was quite creamy. Thumbs up!
