This is a fresh-tasting packaged coconut water with a very natural sweetness. We would have rated it higher, if not for the ingredient list.
Almost nothing comes close to being as refreshing as tender coconut water during a hot summer day.

Freshness: Fresh coconut water showcases a smoothness on the palette. The same when not as fresh, has a peculiar sourness, a lingering bitterness.

This is made with water (90.5%), concentrated tender coconut water (9.5%), minerals, preservatives (INS 202, INS 224, INS 234), natural flavors, and natural flavoring substances.
The nutrition values per 100 ml are 21 Kcal, 0 g protein, 0 g fat, 5.3 g carbohydrates (natural fruit sugars 5.3 grams)
Compared to fresh tender coconut water, the values are 19 Kcal, 0.2 grams of fat, 4 grams of carbohydrates, and 0.7 grams of protein. These values are fairly similar.
Aroma + Appearance
Fortunately, there was no rancid aroma. It smelled fresh with a hint of tropical nuttiness, like that of coconuts. There were no particles or free-floating bits in the liquid. The coconut water was not completely colourless, like water. The appearance was exactly like that of fresh coconut water, opaque but clear.
Taste + Consistency
As for consistency, this packaged coconut water had a uniform consistency. It wasn’t thick like a concentrate, the mouthfeel was similar to the natural counterpart.
In terms of flavor, the freshness and sweetness were in tact. They were fairly identical to fresh coconut water. There were no industrial flavors, the sweetness was natural-tasting too.
