Mojo Box Review – Try Before You Buy

What is Mojo box? Like Mishry Reviews, Mojo Box is another foolproof way to skip regretful purchases. 

‘Try before you buy’ Mojo Box is a platform that allows customers to try mini and sample-sized home and wellness products before investing in full-sized variants. Last month, we ordered the Deluxe Breakfast Box to learn more on the brand’s concept and quality of products they offer. After a positive experience, we ordered the Back To School variant and here’s our Mojo Box review for the same.

Better, worse, or just as good, how was our experience?

These are sample-sized products which are not sold loose and you won’t see them generally in the market. On occasion, information like price, list of ingredients and nutrition label might not be printed on the pack.

We ordered the Back To School box that comprised 12 items. The original price was Rs 464 but the discounted rate was Rs 199/-. 

All boxes come in regular or xl size. You can choose as per your need and budget.

We received our box three days after placing the order. All the items were neatly placed in a compact box. While the Breakfast Box was a black one, the Back To School variant was a regular carton.

The items we ordered included-

• Bauli Moonfils Puff Roll Chocolate

This is the second variant we tried from the range. It is a croissant-shaped snack with a cloud-like fluffy bread and a center filling. While both elements tasted fresh, the bread to filling ratio was too low. 

• Pintola Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate

This isn’t you regular chocolate-flavored peanut butter. It contains added protein. Fresh and decadent, we liked this combination. The substantial peanut bits deserve a special mention. More on what we liked in the detailed review.

• Pintola Peanut Butter Classic Crunchy

Made with 100% roasted peanuts, this peanut butter has no added salt or sugar. If you’re looking for a clean and crunchy peanut butter, this is one we’d suggest. Need more information on the texture? Read our review here.

• Cadbury Bournvita

This is a chocolate-flavored powder that is to be mixed in warm/chilled milk.

• Malkist Cheese Crackers

Both the Deluxe Breakfast and the Back To School boxes come with the Cheese variant. The cheese and sugar combination is a refined taste and Malkist did a fairly great job with this snack. It was crisp, fresh-tasting, and a lot more.

• So Good Soy Milk Chocolate

Chocolate for the taste buds and soy for the gut, this plant-based beverage makes for a good source of protein. Between meals or after work/play, this is something you can reach out for guilt-free.

• Lotte Frutopie Strawberry

This is a single-serving pie with a strawberry creme centre. It contains eggs. 

• Foodrik Choco Nutri Bar

Nutrient-dense ingredients that are rich in fiber, iron, and protein, this bar is satiating enough to keep you going till the next meal. Sattu is a unique ingredient we noticed in the list. 

• ChefBoss Hot Garlic Cooking Sauce

Chilli heat laced with a subtle sweetness and a mild hit of tangy flavors, ChefBoss takes a regular paneer/chicken dish from 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes. Read more on what we liked and how we made this here.

• Mezmo Candy

Candy without sugar? Sounds close to impossible, doesnt it? Mezmo jellies are made with natural fruit sugars and are relatively better than refined sugar-based candies. We tried all three variants and here is the detailed review.

• Zinga Veda Gummies

Our box had 4 of these gummies, individually-wrapped. With a chewy-bite, these gummies are prepared with over 20 herbal ingredients and have a relatively milder taste of Chyawanprash.

• Mojo Box Pencil

This was a plantable pencil that had some split moong beans at the bottom. 

‘Try before you Buy’ reads the brand’s tagline. The website is pretty easy to navigate. There are seven ready-to-order boxes. The brand also offers a ‘make my own’ option where you can build your personalized box including items ranging from snacks, beverages, protein bars, skincare, cosmetics, and more.

We got no complaints about the overall quality of this service. As mentioned above, our order was packed neatly and delivered in fairly good condition. 

In addition to trying mini-sized products before purchasing the full-sized version, Mojo Box is a great gifting option too. Moreover, the pricing is pretty reasonable. 

Do note that these boxes are very dynamic and keep going out of stock and new curations are introduced every few weeks.
